Known issues and what fixed them

The bugs that mattered and what each patch fixed, plus two things that still trip players up: language locked to a save, and achievements on a bad connection.

Quick answer

Most launch bugs are gone by Patch 1.30, but language is still locked to the save file, and achievements can fail to unlock if the connection drops at the wrong moment.

Most of the launch bugs are fixed. What follows is what each patch actually repaired, and the handful of things that still look like bugs but are not.

Not bugs: three things that look like them

Language will not change. It is per save file and locked once the file starts. That is the design, documented in the official 14 August 2026 notice. The controls page has the workaround.

An event will not trigger. Patch 1.30 states that events skip certain main-story sections and thunderstorm days. Advance the story or wait for clear weather before assuming a bug.

A request asks for something you cannot get. Patch 1.08 filtered requests so they no longer ask for items from seeds and livestock you have not unlocked. On current builds this should not happen; on older ones it did.

If something still looks wrong

  1. Update to Patch 1.30 — most of the table above predates it.
  2. Check the day's weather and your story progress before calling it a bug.
  3. Verify Steam files if the crash is repeatable.
  4. Report it to the publisher's support channel rather than to a fan site; this page tracks patches, it does not file them.

The updates page has the full timeline, and the performance page covers the settings side of "it runs badly".
