What the game actually is

A hand-painted farming sim set in Kagatsu, a Japanese mountain village. You farm, fish, mine, cook, decorate and befriend a cast of villagers. You are also told, immediately, not to talk to strangers, not to leave the village and not to go out at night. The rules page covers what happens when you do, and the updates page tracks what each patch changed since launch.
